Our Values

Our core identity as a staff is foundational to everything we do.  To live out this identity, these are the core values we exude:

  • Mentoring Relationships - Committing to being good friends and guides to youth who need it most. It is crucial for young people to have positive role models giving them direction and speaking life and hope over them.

  • Family-like Community- Giving youth a community where they are deeply loved and supported.  A sense of belonging is a basic human need, to do this we must provide youth with a loving, safe and nurturing environment.

  • Personal Growth- Seeing the potential in every youth and practically helping them discover their purpose and meaning in life. We do this by focussing on 3 areas of development.  Leadership, life skills and holistic health.

We believe every youth has so much potential, but many grow up without a dedicated community to help them fully realize it and reach it.  This is why Youth One provides mentors, spaces and programs where youth can find belonging and support to become their best selves.  If you are committed to being a great mentor, dedicated to building a family-like community for teens, and have a great desire to see youth develop in their overall health, we invite you to join in on our mission.

*At Youth One, we believe everyone's story should be heard and understood without regard for race, religion, color, age, sex, orientation, identity, or disability. Which is why we are passionate about creating an environment that promotes and values diversity and reflects the communities we strive to serve. We are working to build a culture where diversity is the norm, not a program.*
